Terms — Boost & Featured Listings

1. What is a Boost?
Boost is a paid service that allows a seller to display a listing at the top of Toveria search results and the homepage for a specified duration.
A boosted listing is identified by the 🔥 Top badge displayed on its card.
2. Who can boost a listing?
Boost is available to all sellers, whether they are:
- Individual sellers
- Professional sellers (with or without a Pro subscription)
It is not necessary to be subscribed to a Pro plan to boost a listing.
3. Pricing

Prices are final and non-refundable once the boost is activated.
4. How to boost a listing?
4.1 From "My Listings"
- Go to Profile → My Listings
- Click the 🚀 Boost button under the desired listing
- Select the duration (7 or 30 days)
- Confirm payment with your registered payment card
4.2 From a listing page
When a seller views their own listing, a 🚀 Boost button is displayed in the action bar, alongside the "✏️ Edit" button.
4.3 After publication
Immediately after publishing a new listing, an invitation to boost is offered via a floating bar. This invitation automatically disappears after 12 seconds.
5. Effects of boosting
5.1 Positioning
Boosted listings are systematically displayed before non-boosted listings in:
- The homepage (main grid)
- Search results
- Filter results
If multiple listings are boosted simultaneously, the order between them is determined by their publication date (most recent first).
5.2 Visual badge
The 🔥 Top badge is displayed on the listing photo throughout the boost duration, signaling to the buyer that the listing is featured.
5.3 What the boost does not change
- The listing price
- The listing details
- The seller's rating
- Visibility in Supabase searches (non-boosted listings remain accessible via search)
6. Duration and renewal
6.1 Activation
The boost is activated immediately after payment confirmation.
6.2 Extension
If a listing is already boosted when a new boost is purchased, the duration is extended from the current expiration date (not from the purchase date). Example: boost active until May 15 + purchase of a 7-day boost = boost extended until May 22.
6.3 Expiration
When the boost expires, the listing returns to its normal position in the grid. The 🔥 Top badge automatically disappears.
6.4 Automatic renewal
There is no automatic renewal. Each boost is a one-time purchase.
7. Automatic boost (Business plan)
Sellers subscribed to the Business plan benefit from an automatic weekly boost at no cost.
7.1 How it works
Every Monday at 8:00 AM UTC, the system automatically selects 1 listing from the seller's active listings and applies a 7-day boost to it.
7.2 Selection criteria
The selected listing is the one with the highest number of favorites among the seller's active non-currently-boosted listings. If all listings are already boosted, the listing with the most favorites is extended.
7.3 Notification
The seller receives an in-app notification each week confirming which listing has been boosted.
7.4 Cumulative
The Business automatic boost is cumulative with paid boosts. The same listing can benefit from an automatic boost and a paid boost simultaneously (durations are added together).
8. Cancellation and refunds
8.1 General principle — Non-refundability
Boost fees are non-refundable in the following cases, without exception:
- Deletion of the boosted listing by the seller before the end of the period
- Suspension or closure of the account by Toveria for violation of the Terms of Service
- Voluntary deactivation of the account by the user
- Listing removed for non-compliance (counterfeiting, prohibited item, etc.)
Only a verified technical error on Toveria's side (listing not displayed despite active boost) may entitle a refund, upon request sent to support@toveria.com within 7 days of purchase.
8.2 Sole exception — Toveria technical error
A refund may be granted only if a verified technical error on Toveria's side prevented the listing from being correctly displayed in the boosted position despite payment. This error must be verifiable in the platform's technical logs.
The following do not constitute a technical error:
- A decrease in platform traffic
- Sales results below expectations
- A change of mind by the seller after boost activation
8.3 Refund request
Any request must be sent to support@toveria.com within 7 days of the purchase date, with the transaction reference and a detailed description of the anomaly encountered.
9. Payment
Boost payments are processed by Stripe. The payment card used must be registered in your Toveria account (Settings → Payment section).
If no card is registered, you will be prompted to add one before confirming the boost.
10. Eligibility limits and conditions
- Only listings with "Active" status can be boosted.
- Paused, reserved, or sold listings are not eligible for boost.
- The seller must be logged in to perform a boost.
- Toveria reserves the right to suspend the boost service in case of violation of the Terms of Service.
- Payment for a boost constitutes acceptance of the non-refundability clause described in Article 8, including in case of listing deletion, account suspension, or closure.
11. Modification of terms
Toveria reserves the right to modify the pricing and conditions of the Boost service. Any modification will be communicated with a 15-day notice by email.
