Pricing Terms — Toveria

Applicable to all users of the Toveria platform
European BtoC, CtoC, CtoB and BtoB Marketplace — Selling from Europe to the rest of the world
1. General Principles
Toveria is an intermediation platform between sellers and buyers of goods and services. Toveria does not sell and does not store merchandise. The rates below exclusively remunerate connection services, secure payment processing and transaction protection.
All amounts are expressed including VAT in euros (€). For buyers outside the eurozone, conversion is performed by Stripe at the rate in effect at the time of payment. Any currency exchange fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Business model: the seller receives 100% of the advertised price for their listing. Service fees are entirely borne by the buyer.
2. Buyer Service Fees
Service fees are added to the item price at the time of payment. They cover transaction protection (21-day escrow), dispute mediation, customer service and platform operation.
2.1 Tiered Schedule

Maximum cap: €15.00 per transaction, regardless of item value.
Minimum: €0.70 per transaction.
2.2 Free Items (Donations)
For items offered free of charge (price = €0), no service fee is applied. The buyer only pays any applicable shipping fees.
2.3 Bulk Purchases
Service fees apply to the subtotal of the lot after deduction of any discount granted by the seller. The tiered schedule applies to the final lot amount.
2.4 BtoB Transactions — VAT Clarification
For transactions between two professional accounts, VAT applicable to Toveria service fees follows intra-community or national VAT rules depending on the location of the parties. A VAT breakdown appears on the automatically generated invoice.
3. Seller Commission
Seller commission is 0%. The seller receives the full advertised price for their item, plus shipping fees if these are borne by the buyer.
Seller payment is made via Stripe Connect after buyer confirmation of receipt, or automatically after 21 days without dispute. The actual bank transfer time is 2 to 5 business days after funds are released, according to the Stripe Connect schedule for the seller's account.

Actual rates depend on weight, dimensions, destination and rates negotiated by the seller with their carrier.
4.2 Free Shipping
When a seller activates "Free Shipping", shipping costs are entirely borne by the seller. The buyer only pays the item price and Toveria service fees.
4.3 Hand-to-Hand Delivery
Hand-to-hand delivery is free. Toveria service fees remain due.
4.4 International Shipping — Additional Fees
For shipments outside the European Union:

⚠️ Customs duties and local taxes are not included in the price displayed on Toveria. The buyer is responsible for checking with their customs authority before placing an order.

5. Pro Subscriptions (Professional Sellers Only)
Pro subscriptions are reserved for Professional account types (SIRET or equivalent European identifier required). Personal accounts have access to all standard features without subscription.

5.4 Common Subscription Terms
- Monthly debit on subscription anniversary date
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled before renewal date
- Upon cancellation, Pro features remain accessible until the end of the current period — no prorated refunds
- In case of non-payment, Pro features are suspended after 7 days. A reminder email is sent before any suspension. Listings remain visible
- Upgrade from Starter to Business possible at any time, billing adjusted pro rata
- Starter free trial is granted once per SIRET and requires no payment method. A valid card is required at the end of the trial period

Boost displays your listing at the top of search results and the homepage with the 🔥 Top badge. Boost applies to the active listing of your choice.
⚠️ Boost fees are non-refundable, including in case of listing deletion, account suspension or any other circumstance. The only exception is a proven technical error on Toveria's side (listing not displayed despite active boost), to be reported to support@toveria.com within 7 days.
7. Payments and Invoicing
7.1 Accepted Payment Methods
- Bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Saved card (one-click payment after first payment)
Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe, Inc. — PCI DSS Level 1 certified). Toveria does not collect or store any banking data.
7.2 Currency
All transactions are in euros (EUR). No conversion fees are applied by Toveria. Currency exchange fees may be applied by the buyer's bank according to their account currency.
7.3 Payment Security (Escrow)
Funds are held by Toveria for the duration of the transaction (until confirmation of receipt, or maximum 21 days). This protection covers buyers worldwide.
7.4 BtoB Invoicing
For transactions between professional accounts, a compliant invoice is automatically generated and available in Profile → Orders. The invoice includes:
- Unique sequential number
- Tax identifiers of both parties (SIRET, VAT number)
- Breakdown of amounts (item, shipping, service fees, applicable VAT)
- Stripe transaction reference
7.5 Standard Receipt
A payment receipt is automatically sent by email after each successful transaction (all account types).
8. Refunds
8.1 Right of Withdrawal — Consumer Buyer from Professional Seller (BtoC)
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of 14 to 30 days (depending on seller settings) from receipt of the item to exercise their right of withdrawal. The refund is full. Return shipping fees are borne by the buyer or seller according to the seller's settings.
8.2 CtoC, CtoB and BtoB Transactions
Transactions between individuals or involving a professional buyer do not benefit from the legal right of withdrawal. In case of dispute (non-conforming item, non-receipt), Toveria customer service may intervene in mediation and decide on release or refund of pending funds.
8.3 Buyers Outside the European Union
Buyers residing outside the EU do not automatically benefit from the European right of withdrawal. They are subject to the legislation of their country, unless the seller voluntarily extends this protection in their settings.
8.4 Service Fees
Toveria service fees are non-refundable except in case of:
- Cancellation by the seller before shipment
- Item significantly non-conforming to description, after validation by Toveria customer service
8.5 Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are non-refundable once the package is shipped, except in case of proven package loss (to be proven to the carrier).
9. Disputes and Mediation
Toveria has an integrated dispute system allowing the buyer to open a case within 30 days following the transaction if:
- The package did not arrive
- The received item is significantly non-conforming to the description
During the dispute, funds remain frozen until resolution. Toveria may decide on partial or full refund in favor of the buyer, or release funds to the seller.

10. Pricing Modifications
Toveria reserves the right to modify these pricing terms. Any modification is notified by email with 30 days' notice. Use of the platform after the new rates take effect constitutes acceptance.
